Back to Sunday is a video that really taps into the heart of riding. I tried to film a movie that brings riding back to the basics and really shows how fun motocross can be and what comes along with it. It all started with an idea of making something different. We did not want to shoot a video that was gonna turn out like any old web edit, so we came up with a kinda "storyline," you can call it--a storyline that includes pure originality, riding, and fun. My friends and I had gotten together and talked about ideas as to where we wanted to go with the video and what we wanted to do with it. We wanted to make a riding movie, a real riding movie like how they were. As kids we grew up watching movies like the Terrafirma films and Frezno Smooth. This movie actually turned out to be a big production between my buddies, trying to figure out what camera to get, how to make a dolly, track design, riders, scenes. We had a few pages of notes going in the garage and would write down ideas each night on different shots we wanted to do, how we would do them, where we were going to shoot, music, and so on. It was very hard to fit it all within four minutes, especially with all of the footage we gathered while shooting over a few weekends, so we hope you enjoy what we have put together for you. Thanks for watching!
